Who we are

PilateStory (Anat Classic Pilates) is a private Pilates studio at 32 Brookland Hill, London NW11 6DX, run by Anat Ben-Tal. We are the data controller for personal data collected through pilatestory.com. Contact: info@pilatestory.com.

What we collect and why

  • Contact form (name, email, optional phone, message): to reply to your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interests (answering enquiries) and steps taken at your request before a contract.
  • Bookings, packages and memberships: handled through PTminder (ptminder.com), which collects your account, payment and booking details, and any health or injury information you give us, including the health questionnaire every client completes when registering. Legal basis: contract. For health information, your explicit consent. We use health information only to teach safely.
  • Cookie choice (ps_consent_v1): remembers your Accept or Decline choice for up to 180 days.
  • Optional, only if you click Accept: ps_returning_v1 (remembers that you visited the booking page, up to 120 days), Google Analytics (anonymised visit statistics) and Google's "Add to Preferred Sources" button. Legal basis: consent. You can change your choice at any time with "Privacy & Cookies" in the footer.
  • Messages to our WhatsApp number: used to answer you and arrange sessions.

Who we share data with

PTminder (booking and payments software), Google (analytics and the Preferred Sources button, only if you accept), IONOS (website hosting and email). We do not sell your data.

International transfers

Some providers, such as Google, may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on UK-approved transfer safeguards.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: up to 12 months, unless you become a client.
  • Client records: while you are a client and for up to 6 years after, for insurance and tax reasons.
  • Analytics data: up to 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to how we use it, withdraw consent, or ask for a copy. Contact info@pilatestory.com. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.
